Imaginative menu that is well prepared.

Recently relocated from the NYC metro area, I've struggled to find good restaurants in Jax. BB's is an exception. I've dined there several times from simple apps at the bar, salad and 3 course meal. Each and every meal was very good. Consistency with such a changing menu is often difficult.

When I cannot make up my mind where to eat and want I nice meal I head to BB's.

Just a word of caution - the place can get loud. This does not bother me but could be a put off for some. The hard surfaces do little to deaden the sounds from the popular bar.

If you do dine here, leave room for desert. I recommend a view of the desert case before you order your meal.

Salads are always excellent - fresh and crisp. I often have them as a meal.

Food is above average; service is excellent

While they don't take reservations, you can put your name on a call-ahead list with a specific time. We did this and were seated within five minutes of our time on a weekend evening. Food was above average. The goat cheese salad is an absolute must. Restaurant was cramped, loud, and very cold.

Great date!

My husband & I went here on our anniversary. The food was outstanding - each and every morsel was better than the last. And THEN, the dessert - how to choose? The dessert was as beautiful as it was delicious.

The service was impecible! The airconditioning was blowing at our table so our waiter offered to move us and brought me a wrap.

The atmosphere was lively and the decor modern - a great overall experience!
