GA Resident Loves Kabuki.
I come from Georgia to visit Kabuki Japanese Steakhouse. It's the most authentic Japanese hibachi restaurant in the area. The chefs speak English and put on a great show. The food and atmosphere is spectacular.

KABUKI.
Far from being just a flash in a pan, the long-standing classic Kabuki has been dishing out amazing hibachi style food and sushi for many years. My husband and I spend a few weeks a year at our beach condo in Fernandina Beach and this restaurant is just a few miles away. Everything about Kabuki is absolutely great. There is always tons of parking out front. The atmosphere is tantalizing; the restaurant has great traditional Japanese accents and the most friendliest staff and chefs in town. My husband and I love Chef Steven and Kevin the best. The most amazing aspect of hibachi style restaurants like this is the ability to communicate with the chefs and watch as they make the food in front of you. We have been to many hibachi style restaurants around the east coast and this is by far our favorite. The ingredients are the best ever. Usually restaurants like this use dark meat chicken and lousy steak and seafood. The meats are so fresh; it seems like it comes straight from the market. White meat chicken and great rib eye or filet steaks. And did I mention the sushi? Absolutely the best sushi I have ever had in my life. Sometimes we sit at the sushi bar and that is all we will have. Every time my husband and I come we try something new on the sushi menu and it just makes us want to come back for more. If you want a great romantic dinner with amazing food and the friendliest staff, visit KABUKI!!!!

What happen to the real Kabuki.
I remember when my family use to take me to Kabuki when i was younger , it was truly an experience. The chefs would do spectacular shows and the food was great. Now the food has lost its value the shrimp is about the size of dimes and the steak is as hard as rock no matter what temp you order. To top it all off, I hear the boss fires the head chef that has cooked for my family for years. I would have personally recommended this chef, but now hes not there. Rumor has it, the chefs that are left are drug heads. i would not have my little sister eat there any more. No wonder theres no sign saying Drug Free Work Place . Just read between the lines

Not on my list for places to go again.
This has got to be one of the worst experiences ive had at any establishment. i came in to enjoy with some friends of mine from college and the chef kept pestering us as if we were at a singles bar or something. We all had our own significant other but was overlooked rudely. We all had their special and the meat was terribly tough and he served us our rice last as if it were a desert or something. Caucasian chef obviously needs more training.

eat with caution.
Not a wise choice for sushi, as the chef spoils everything with shrimp sauce, Hanna and Fancy sushi are more cleaner as well as more sharp with flavor. As for tables well the chefs are ok however, they tend to take much too long to go to tables after they go back in from another. hense wait time suffers imensely. my last experience there i waited from time through the door to my first bite, an hour an a half! I hear the owner does this on purpose so guests will order more alcohol. During the wait i was entertained by an occasional fly, eww.
