Good food / Great price. The shrimp and sides were excellent and the price for the shrimp special was great.

Food Nothing to Brag About. I have eaten here several times, but this time I was extremely disappointed. I guess the hint should of been that it was after 5 p.m. and the parking lot was not packed. Not like it used to be. There was usually a wait to get in here. The food was mediocre to say the least. Our waiter was not very attentive and never came back but once after we received our meal. The spinach casserole was strange. The next day my stomach was upset and I had to down a lot of Tums. I won't be going back here any time soon. I would of been better off going to Ourback or Longhorns and had fish there.

This place has changed.. I was ready for some great seafood. I had been here about a year ago and it was pretty good. This time was terrible. I ordered the catch of the day (fried flounder). It came out and accually looked pretty good, but it was not. I tried to cut off a small piece and it would not even cut, they left the skin on and it was unediable. Tried to scrape the fish apart and it was so small of a piece that there was not much fish left to eat. The waiter was not that great either. Never came back to fill our drinks. We use to get a small basket of bread the last time, This time no bread. So for $18.00 I got about 4 bites of fish, 1 baked potato and a small bowl of cole slaw that did not have any flavor. I give this place a 1 start this time. Hope they read this and improve.

Barnacle's has been an outstanding seafood restaurant since my first trip in 1955.Proba.i Service is very good . Their shrimp batter will win hands down against any other from Jax to Miami. Barnicles on Castillo is the best!!!!. I have been coming here since at least 1955. Service not always first rate. The new staff shows professionalism and appropriate courtesy.

This place used to be the best in town....... Was there 2 weeks ago it was terrible the breading on the scallops was like eating hush puppies (where is th scallops? ) baked tatter was made more than 3 hours before... When I told the waiter he said with a attitude we can make some more ..... I had other plans when I emailed the company they said' it has always been this way... I do not think so I reported them to Better Bunness Bureau for not refunding my money.... they have lost the quality and think the name will keep people coming ( I am a local )
