Beware Their Gift Certificates! We lost out!.
Many years ago, My Wife and I had a very disturbing issue with Debbie’s Day Spa, which has really never been resolved. Back then, I purchased a gift certificate in the amount of $60 from the Spa for my wife, an RN, at the time, at Flagler Hospital; I wanted her to enjoy some pampering after all the work she had done for others. Well, time went by and she didn’t call for an appointment until about 13 months later. We were told at that time to look at the bottom of the gift certificate for the “Expiration Date”. We were surprised to learn that there even was an expiration date, frankly, and when I asked if the certificate would be honored, I was told flatly by the lady at the desk, No. This made my Wife cry, quite the opposite result of what I contacted Debbie’s Day Spa for in the beginning.
We no longer live in the St. Augustine area and I have to say, the way that we were treated has always bothered me. I have tried to contact Debbie Kresge, the owner of Debbie’s Day Spa, to give her the opportunity to make it up to my Wife so we can finally put this incident behind us. To date, she has not returned my phone calls or any of my emails; I guess taking our money and providing no service is in their business model. We feel that this is very wrong and I intend to use every means at my disposal to spread the word.
robert's THE best!!!.
i recently saw robert for my hair. he is amazing! he came highly recommended by a friend, especially for color. i went from a dark blonde to a vibrant red, and it looks amazing!!! i didn't think my skin tone could handle red, but after talking to robert and then seeing the results, i was convinced. the spa is beautiful and serene, and the staff is incredibly warm and polite. i will definitely go back and tell all of my friends.
