Jacksonville Florida has it ALL!. Nowhere else in the United States of America can one feel the small town simplicity and kindness and yet alongside that, the city flavor of larger cities. Only in Jacksonville, Florida, can one feel both at the same time and feel comfortable and happy to BE there!

We have it all here, from many corporate head quarters right on down to small town businesses that fill almost every niche any resident could feel a need to call upon no matter what the situation. The airport is nearby, TPC is nearby ( I live right by that ).

We have every kind of recreation available except for snow ( thank You, God ). We have rivers and streams which are navigable galore. We just love it!

Located on the north bank of the St. John's River, it's the centerpiece of the downtown renaissance.. The Scene
Jacksonville Landing is a beacon for entertainment. With its myriad restaurants, shops, nightspots and spacious courtyard, it has something for everyone. When the city wants to party, this is the place. Live entertainment is featured outdoors every Friday and Saturday night, featuring a variety of the region's best bands. National groups also play its stage.

The Best
The Landing is home to celebrations such as Fourth of July, Earth Day, Cinco de Mayo, Jaguars' Pep Rallies and more. Many of its restaurants also host live entertainment throughout the week. It's the perfect place for locals and Omni Hotel guests (it's located across street), or for dining, drinking and dancing before or after a major performance or symphony concert at the Center for the Performing Arts.

LOTS OF FUN!!. I am not from Jacksonville, I am from Nashville, and I recently went to Jacksonville by myself for a much needed vacation and was really surprised by the Landing. I stayed on the south bank of the river and walked over the Main Street Bridge and did alot of shopping at the Landing. They have a lot of stores and alot of sales. Their food court is really good too. And Id suggest taking your food outside to eat because you get a fab view of the water and Riverwalk. The Landing is the place to go in downtown. Im going back...
