In Short – Thanks to a $135 million face-lift, Alltel Stadium (formerly Gator Bowl) is now one of the most impressive stadiums in the country. The 76,000-seat complex has a state-of-the-art sound system, 46 permanent concession stands and the country's largest Sony Jumbotron scoreboard. In addition to acting as home base for the Jaguars, the stadium also hosts big-name touring acts. Alltel also hosts the annual Gator Bowl, NCAA Florida vs. Georgia football games and monster-truck shows.
