Its fantastic New York-style pizza and amiable staff have made this one of Jacksonville's favorite pizzerias.. The Scene
It's just what you'd expect from a neighborhood Italian restaurant: small, homey and filled with plastic flowers and red and white checkered tablecloths. Owner Elias Demetree rotates between his three store locations, somehow managing to learn the names of all his regular customers.

The Food
The delicious, thin-crust, New York-style pizza is hand-thrown and topped with the freshest ingredients. Pizza Palace makes other dishes, too, such as calzones, eggplant Parmesan and spaghetti. But great pizza is what this place is known for and what it does best. A variety of cold beers rounds out the menu.
