The Scene – In 1961, Arthur and Ninah Cummer gave their land and their extensive art collection to the city of Jacksonville. From this grew the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens. The museum's collection has grown to include over 5,000 works of art. – – The Collection – The museum's 12 galleries are home to works by world-renowned artists including Peter Paul Rubens, Gianlorenzo Bernini, Winslow Homer, Auguste Renoir and John Singer Sargent.
