This popular chain serves slow-cooked barbecue and great sides like deep-fried corn on the cob..
The Scene
If you love barbecue, take comfort that a good place to get it is always nearby. The setting is casual at this local chain; come in wearing a tie and the staff just might throw you out. It's not uncommon to see men tucking their napkins into their shirts, and you'll be thankful for the Wet-Naps when you've finish your meal.
The Food
Beef, pork, chicken and turkey are slow-cooked and, upon request, slathered with Bono's special mild, hot or red sauce. The ribs will have you licking your fingers and asking for more. Yummy sides like homemade coleslaw, sweet potatoes or fries make the meal, with a slab or two of grilled Texas toast thrown in for good measure. Don't miss out on the local favorite--deep-fried corn on the cob. Burgers, hot off the grill, are quarter-pound patties stacked high with lettuce, tomato or good 'ol fashioned American cheese.
