Sometimes the NEED is too Great and sometimes they don't really need this type of HELP. Over 15 years ago, this place took me in, helped me to get on my feet. It was a struggle just to survive on the streets, so when I was able to join the program, it was a relief. I always wondered why some people got in while others didn't. Some of those people weren't ready to change their life. Some were still on illegal substances or thieves. I saw many people that should of been before me, but then out in the yard the next day, come to find out, they were in gail for stealing or illegal sustances. Though it is really hard to say who is more open to change their life, it must be done, so some people can get the help they need and start a new life. Some nights I saw so many people sleeping in the cold, because the shelter didn't have any more room.

Homless EX-Con. I think you need to put some one els in the City rescue on state street becouse of i tryed to get in i even got saved and did not leave for 3 days so i could get a responce I have been on the streets ever cence the 21 of Nov. and this life is not me I have never colected unenploment or food stamps and this is what i get for my tax dollers

City Resue Mission. The food there is not all that good. But it is a very helpful place who loves to help those in need. Clean rooms Clean cafe. This is my first time rateing this place. Pastor Cruse is cool. So isn't the staff. They will help in need. Ms. Marla and Ms. Jakie Brown are awsome as well. Well don't give up if you go into the program because it is so worth it.
