THE BEST!. Karl is unbelievable!! I am by far the pickiest person when it comes to finding a good hairstylist. I want someone that is talented enough to look at me and my hair and say, "this is what I would recommend with your type of hair/face." Or "I have the perfect color in mind for your highlights." Karl does EXACTLY that. He is a true talent, which is very rare to find now-a-days. Also, I'm not sure what the other reviewer(s) were talking about with the rude employees. From the receptionist, to the young lady that shampooed my hair, to Karl I felt very at home and comfortable. They enjoy making conversation with you and want to make your experience a positive and unforgettable one. I know you will not be disappointed with Karl's work, trust me!

Beautiful Salon, Rude Employees. I had high hopes for Casablanca and i chose the salon because of its great reputation. boy was i wrong! unless you are wearing the right clothes, drive the right car etc... don't expect to be treated like a valuable customer.

I was recommended to go to see Zane, my sister goes to him and has been for several years. I called to set up an appointment and the receptionist asked if i have ever seen him before, which i hadn't. i was put on hold, and when she picked up i was told that it would be at least 5 weeks for an appointment. i made the appointment anyway because the feedback about the salon. when i arrived, the receptionist was sitting on the couch talking to another client. after waiting almost 3 minutes at the front desk, she came over and shoved a clipboard at me asking me to fill out some papers and went on about her business. zane received 2 phone calls during my appointment and talked over me the entire time.

i did not feel special nor did i feel like the 30 minute appointment time was personable at all and definitely not worth the $50.

Casablanca. I've been getting my hair done at Casablanca for years now. Sarah Givens is by far one of the best stylists in Jacksonville. Not only does she have amazing talent, but she takes the time to make each appointment an amazing experience. That in itself makes her a step above all the rest.

Sarah Given's is AMAZING. Sarah has been doing my hair now for a few years and I will not go to anyone else! She is awesome at what she does and truly has an eye for hair. you can tell her what you want and she will make it happen to a T! I would recommend her to any of my family and friends!

great place for hair. There was only one person i used to trust to cute my hair, which my mom who used to a hair dresser. But now i only trust Michael to do my hair. because he can get my hair to do amazing things and makes it look amazing and i get compliments on my hair all the thanks to Casablanca.

I was not thrilled. I used to watch Cory Dalton do makeovers on TV, and always wanted to go to Casablanca. When I did, I was disappointed, because I got the worst haircut I've ever had. I won't be going back. I can get a better cut at Great Clips for 20% of the cost.

Very kind and great cut, too!. I have been to this salon a few times. The last time, I was just getting ready to undergo chemo. The receptionist was incredibly kind and made a quick appointment for me. The stylist was wonderful and gave me a cut that took me from shoulder-length hair to a very cool short cut. People approach me and ask where I got my hair cut. I can't thank the staff here enough for making a trying time in my life more manageable.

Not all that!. My experience with Casablanca was NOT a good one. First i don't know what they have at the front desk as a receptionist, i mean that old woman should b the spokes woman for Plastic surgery gone wrong - not at the desk of a beauty salon. She is just creepy. Second my last visit there i was in the middle of having my hair done and the owner RUDELY came over and interrupted all the stylist and took them outside for a meeting- in the middle of my appointment... My stylist came back to me visibly upset and when i asked what was wrong my stylist they said they couldn't talk about it which i understand, however my stylist was shaking and visibly upset. Whatever happened , that was the last straw for me, i will never go back . What kind of owner does that in the middle of clients appointments?? Not professional at all!

great spot for hair and service. I had to cancel my appointment with Casablanca because of a work conflict. As a result I tried another salon, what a nightmare.

Casablanca does a wonderful job. My hair is correct. I trust them. They are very professional. I will be going back to have the blotched job fixed next week as soon as they can take me.

I highly recomend this salon. I never should have tried another place.
