The Scene
Slide past the parked bicycles out front and into a bright, airy dining room. Underneath the diner's green awning, the blackboard of daily specials announces the first of many difficult but delicious choices you'll have to make.
The Food
This diner's claim to dining fame is breakfast. The omelets are made to order, bursting with vegetables, cheese and a multitude of other ingredients. The enormous Metro pancake "10-inch challenge" truly tests the capacity of your stomach. Dishes of oatmeal with brown sugar and cream, cheesy grits and breakfast pie (a potato crust filled with eggs, cheese and vegetables) are the definition of comfort food. A variety of homemade soups, salads and diner standards like meatloaf and mashed potatoes are served for lunch.

Dining at the Metro Diner. The Metro Diner is a great place to bring your family or hold a business luncheon. They provide a great open-kitchetn atmosphere that allows customers to see thier food being prepared for them. They have a variety of dishes on thier menu's ranging from the enormous breakfast burrito to the fettuchine alfredo with chicken.
