Muy buenos precios, aunque el restaurant estaba bastante lleno la comida llego pronto, caliente, las porciones son generosas , todo se veia fresco y el sabor delicioso, en verdad autentica comida Cubana.

El servicio estuvo excelente..... Me gusto tanto que regrese varias veces durante mi estadia en Jacksonville.

Probe varios platillos de carne que vienen acompañados de arroz, frijoles y platano maduro.

Havana Jax Cafe is one of the best restaurants in Jacksonville for so many reasons! Whether it's a quick bite for lunch on the go or a romantic evening out, Havana Jax is the perfect venue. With it's beautiful, warm decor and fresh and authentic Cuban dishes, you just can't go wrong. I would highly recommend that you try their Churassco or Ropa Vieja. Both are crowd pleasures and served with delicious sides of black bean soup, rice and lightly fried sweet plantains. If you really wanting to celebrate an evening out head over the Havana Jax's sister bar next door, Cuba Libre Bar. With the latest latin tunes spinning and freshly made mojitos flowing, Cuba Libre Bar is Jacksonville's best keep secret!

Great cuban sandwich

I first was taken here by a business associate. I really enjoyed the food and clean restaurant at lunch. As I didn't drive before I had no idea where it was when I was back in town, nor was I able to recall the name to find it. I did a generic "Cuban" search and was pleased to roll up to the same restaurant. When I travel to Jax, this is my place for a newly discovered favorite--cuban sandwiches. It has become my standard against which to measure other sandwiches. The staff has been pleasant and accomodating.

• Pros: Good food, clean place.
• Cons: Somewhat dark lighting, bad for a lone diner/reader.

Little Cuba on our doorsteps!

One of the reasons I love this place is that it takes something "exotic" (Cuban food) and presents it like gourmet home cooking/comfort food. It's different and familiar all at the same time. From the delicious old standby, a Cuban sandwich, to more fancy fare, it's all delicious. My personal fave is the "Chicken fricassee" with potatoes and olives - I'm craving it right now. I don't believe there is a kid's menu - at least, when my kids eat there, they want to eat the adult food, so I've never looked at one!

• Pros: Fab food, Beautiful ambience, plenty of parking
• Cons: Awkward location, Somewhat pricey
