The Shiz. I grew up on their pizza. Now that I am older I believe everything is wonderful. I have moved all around the city and have tried several different "Italian" restaurants and none are comparable. I do believe it was even better though when the man him self was around.

Excellent Italian, relaxed atmosphere, spotlessly clean. Locals may be afraid to venture out here because the neighborhood used to be sketchy, but it has been cleaned up a lot in the past five years. Get passed your fear and wander up to the Northside and experience some incredible Italian meals and respectable prices.

wow. i was introduced to Josephs from their advertisemet,, im a true italian and when i walked in the aromas set off my tastebuds,,, i enjoyed every single moment from the WONDERFUL smiling staff to the most amazing Chicken Marsala i have had... I cant wait to try everything on the menu.. i am a terrible food snob,, well lets just say that when the manager said " WELCOME TO THE FAMILY" she was not joking,,, the second time i visited they knew who i was and i felt appreciated,, it was so busy and they were all working hard yet every server made sure my experience was WONDERFUL... well lets just say.. THEY NOT ONLY MADE MY STOMACH HAPPY BUT MY HEART AS WELL... thank you all see you soon my next trip to the beach,,,

Best Pizza By Far. I have tried alot of pizzas in Jacksonville and I have found nothing to compare to Joseph's Pizza. Joseph's Pizza is the best by far and I mean as far as New York City. They just got second place nationally this year though I think they should have made First place. You have to try their pizza first then move on to the rest of their huge menu. I have tried almost everything on their menu and I'll tell you, everything they serve at Joseph's is great right down to the Gelato and homemade Cannoli. They have two locations, Main st and Atlantic beach. Find one closest to you and GO! I see mamma Rosa at the Atlantic beach location more often but the family is at both locations and they are always warm and inviting.

Great Food. One of the few places in town that sells authentic Italian food. Serving sizes are huge so bring your apetite! The Eggplant Parm is wonderful, the Alfredo sauce is to die for, their pizza is outstanding. I haven't had a meal at either one of the Joseph's restaurants that I have not liked. They also make fresh bread. Be prepared for a wait when you arrive, they cook to order. It's easy to forget that authentic food takes a little time, but it's worth the wait.. Just bring something to keep the kids busy..
