BEST SERVICE AT UNBEATABLE PRICE. Quiet, well hidden place, I wasn't expecting much. Both the food and the atmosphere were perfect for the evening. My server, Heather, was both prompt and courteous. Unbelievable that this place was a secret so well kept.

I have asked several people and they drive past it every day without ever noticing. I've stopped in several times since my first visit and each time the service and the food remains great.

Good food, white collar well hidden friendly sports bar!. Inside:

Upon opening the door day or night it?s pleasant to note the lack of smoke or lingering typical bar smells. Highly mounted flat screen High Def signal TV?s cover the walls with every sports channel imaginable. Mounted throughout the rooms are large speakers providing excellent game coverage sound. With all the TV?s it?s easy to miss the clean walls, floors and ceiling. The layout is nice as the game room is semi isolated and is right on the way to the much larger half of the bar. The design and soft wood furnishings present a warm and inviting feel. There are plenty of tables, chairs and space at the bars. As soon as you take a seat you are greeted warmly by the speedy, experienced and knowledgeable staff. Even Lolly, one of the owners, will pop out from the well hidden kitchen to smile and greet customers.

Dinning:

It?s easy to find something you like on the newly printed menus. With a fully stocked bar and reference material they welcome any challenging drink and ensure it was made to your satisfaction. That alone is enough to earn my loyalty in patronage however the excellent food and filling portions also play a part. I?ve sampled everything from their scrumptious appetizers, filling lunch specials to their four star dinner plates. The presentation on each dish carries a sense of origin and style. The tasty Cuban sandwich and excellent Burgers comes in a paper lined basket while the mouth watering Chili comes in a large white gourmet bowl. The delicious Wings, Jalape?o Poppers and Gator Bites are presented on medium sized brown dishes lined with lettuce. The Meatloaf and succulent Ribs are a must try along with the Chicken Caesar Salad! In sampling nearly all the dishes I have yet to have one complaint. My food was made to order, hot out of the kitchen and well presented. Fortunately my glass was always full from the refills. They even make a point to check on you early in the meal to see if you are enjoying everything.

Terrible. I have survived 2 tours of duty in the Vietnam war. I have seen things I will never forget. I have also eaten in places you wouldn't wish your worst enemy to eat. All of these were better than my experience at RP McMurphy's. Where do I begin? The incompetent and sweaty bartender? The dishwasher that looked like a repeat fellon? The cold and undercooked "burger"?

I was at the location at Jacksonville Beach, I pray that the same owner does not own both places.
