Very child friendly. I must say, I love the warmth of this old place. Its not the prettiest place I have ever eaten by any means but the servers are great. My kids get treated like royalty while we are there. They laugh sing and color with the servers.. Sometimes even dance! Sometimes the food is a little off depending on the cook. But I will definitely go back over and over again. I love the Bacon Turkey Salad! I get it ALL the time. The breakfast is great as well.. Eggs are always cooked jsut the way I like them! Some of these people writing reviews must be pretty picky. This place isnt gorgeous but the food and people are great. I will take that over a top notch snotty restaruant ANY DAY! =))

Dont waste time or money in this Dive!. I have never in my life seen a more poorly run place of business? What in the heck happened? You cant cover a disease with a coat paint. has anyone called the Health department or will I be the first. This place is licensed to sell food it is filthy dirty and nasty. Cracked burned plates, food that is unidentifiable let alone being able to eat it? Oh my gosh.....somebody spread the word this place will make people sick! one word o. k. three...

GROSS! DON'T GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FAMOUS AMOS RESTAURANT. THE NEW MGN. ON SAN JUAN IS NOT AS GOOD AS THE PREVIOUS MANAGEMENT. SLOW SERVICE AND

FRIED SQUASH NOT ON THE SIDE MENU FOR THURS. WE GO TO DOCTOR ON THURSDAY AND

UNABLE TO GET THE DELICIOUS FRIED SQUASH ALONG WITH OUR HAM AND CABBAGE. SO DISAPPOINTED. PLEASE CONSIDER BUILDING A RESTAURANT IN THE BAKER COUNTY AREA. NO GOOD HOME COOKING IN THE AREA.

DOWN HOME GOOD. FIRST TIME AT THIS RESTAURANT. IMPRESSED WITH THE ATTENTIVE SERVICE. THE FRIED CHICKEN WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD. SIDE DISHES OF GREENS AND FRIED OKRA WERE VERY TASTY. DON'T MISS THE HOME MADE COBBLER. WE ENJOYED EVERY MORSEL. GREAT SERVICE, GREAT FOOD AND GREAT PRICES. WOULD CERTAINLY RETURN WHEN WE ARE IN TOWN AGAIN.

Southern eats at its best. The BEST down home cooking you can find in the Jacksonville area. Try a Mrs. Moore's Omelette to see what you've been missing.

Not just for old-timers. Big breakfast, great choices, and always friendly service. Yes, the waitresses are "experienced", but if you want a floorshow, go to a "gentlemen's club".
