Rio hair studio is by far the best salon I have ever been to!! The customer service here is beyond excellent. I would reccommend any one of these amazing stylists to any of my friends. This salon in Tapestry park is in a perfect location! Keep up the amazing work Rio Hair salon!!!

Love me some Jason Kendrick!. Jason has been my hair guru for several years now. He is easy to communicate with and knows how to make you shine. I recommend Jason to all of my friends and clients. If you want someone you can relay on for a good color, cut or blow out.. Go see Jason TODAY!

Unclean Messy - Bad Hair Cuts. Why this place in located where it is? Such a nice mall area but Rio Hair does not belong. This place is dirty; do not sit on the couch!! Looks like someone has been eating and spilling food all over (I hope those are food stains). Me and my son went to this place to get haircuts. Worst haircut ever.. The hair stylist never even wet my sons hair just cut it with his bed head style. I could hardly believe what I was seeing. When I went to get my hair cut I asked for tapered back, tapered tight sides with long and full on the top. I got no tapers (Not sure they knew what that was) and I was never even offered to put product in my hair!... I asked on the way out then had to sit back down where she proceeded to find yet something else to cut!! What? I just have a hard time understanding why these artsy thinking studios (Whata be) can cut hair without even knowing the basics. This place needs to clean first!! Just trash everywhere and dirty.. Start with cleaning your mirrors… Don’t got here.. Please get out of my neighborhood!!

WORST SALON. This is the first salon I have tried in Jacksonville. Coming from Gainesville, I had the BEST stylist a girl could ask for. I never had to tell her what to do with my hair, she jus tknew and it always came out PERFECTLY. I went to this salon after reading these reviews and showed my "stylist" several pictures of what I would like and even pictures of myself with the haircut from several years ago. She seemed to know what I had in mind. The minute she started washing, she tried to sell me every product in the store. She kept cutting, cutting, and cutting and before I knew it....all of my hair was on the ground. I had been growing it out for 9 months and left the salon in tears. I have no hair left to have my girl in Gainesville fix. She put so many layers and chopped up the back so bad that I can't pull it back. She didn't listen to a single thing I said I wanted and kept cutting claiming to be a "perfectionist". When I looked down at the floor and was visibly upset, she simply said, "don't look at it!" I've never been so disappointed in a salon before. I would never refer anyone to this place.

JASON KENDRICK ROCKS MY HAIR!!!!. I enjoy going to RIO. Everyone that works there is so friendly and accomodating, not like other salons! The atmosphere is upscale and trendy, without the crazy prices. I love that when I go, I see an eclectic mix of clintele--from uber trendy to soccer moms (not that soccer moms can't be uber trendy, HELLO!)--to people who just get "a trim." You can definately find a style and a stylist that fits your needs/desires at RIO!
