Bad Food, Bad Service, Menu misleading. Recently myself and friend dined at Sliders because the oysters were reasonably priced at 6.99 on their website.

The true munu price is $8.95. They also were very gritty (not rinsed) but ok in taste. Waited 20 minutes for cocktail sauce. My friend ordered the catch of the day, but came as sandwich and then returned to her cold with same fish and the new sides of no taste. The 3 wiatresses and no manager were never around, but always apologetic for the confusion and horrible service.

Never again. No maintenance to their website which has not been attended to in 2 years which is the connection to the public. What about the kitchen and its attention.

Best Oyster deal in the country. We have been going here for years now. This is to refresh my old review. We had been there 2-3 times ayears since and we all felt food taste had gone downhill. We almost did not go back last week. But we did !! the wait was almost an hour, but the beer is still cheap on thursday's and appetizer's also.We sat outside(best place) and everything from app's to oysters and the meals were all great. Service was outstanding and the bill for all of us was "cheap"

Locals Hangout. Primarily local hangout. Known for good, cheap oysters. Only serve beer and wine as far as alcohol goes. Eat inside or outside depending on the weather. Very casual. People tend to spend the day at the beach and do an early dinner here. Flipflop friendly. I read the above post about the rehearsal dinner. Definitely NOT the place for a rehearsal dinner. It's an oyster bar!! ha. Other seafood is good as well.

Not great for big group. Scheduled this place more than 2 weeks in advance for a rehearsal dinner. They sat a group of 17 adults on 2 picnic tables in the sun. Very tight!! The hostess began calling when I still had 10 minutes to get there and threatened to cancel my reservation. Very hostile and not helpful at all when we arrived. Had to keep asking the waitress to do things for us. Doubt we will be back there again...was not worth the long drive from Jacksonville. Choose another location with an ocean view for a party.

Jacksonville's BEST seafood restaurant so far!. We arrived a few minutes before they opened and were graciously greeted. We were welcomed in and seated promptly at 5 . . . This was my first visit & I LOVED IT!!! I definately want to go back! The steamed shrimp was excellent as was the shrimp dip! The mixed grill was delicious as well! The service was impeccable and the restaurant was very clean! A+++++

Great place to hang.Very good help.Food is fast coming out. Eat in or out.. We have gone here twice now,once in April and once in November,all last year. Looking forward to going there again this april and also in June. Very good sea food,great price. Young staff,very helpfull and knowledgeable.

Oysters are fresh and priced right. Service is efficient and friendly. Looking forward to Florida and going to Sliders.

Great Place for Seafood lovers. There is nothing better to me than sink my teeth into a juicy fresh shucked oyster. My boyfriend and I knew of this place but we decided to check it out one Thursday night. I am so glad we did. We sat outside and ordered 3 dozen oysetrs for $12 total. I could not believe my mouth!! They were not skimpy either, the oysters were plump and juicy, they were accompanied by an entire basket of crackers, 3 kinds of hot sauce, horseradish on the side, and a squeeze bottle of cocktail sauce which was convenient becuase it was not messy. We also had an order of stone crabs, they were served warm and seemed tough and over cooked. Stick to the oysters and beer, great price, fun atmosphere, good quality, acceptable service!! It is a must try if you are in the Jacksonville Beach area.

Locals place--cheap beer/oysters/shrimp/crawfish, great for kids. Thursday is happy hour on beer and seafood. Everyday is a good day at Sliders. Used to work in JAX 3 months during summers and would hang here. They bring a pizza out for kids to make, then go bake it. This is a great place to relax near the beach, eat some good food, drink some beers, then go for a walk. Highly recommended.

Best Oyster Deal EVER!!!. Cheap beer...great patio...great service...amazingly, cheap food. WOW!!! Before we went down to Jacksonville for the UGA/FL game, I stopped by this website for some restaurant suggestions. I noticed this rating for an oyster bar so I though I would try it out when we got there. I was the best oyster deal we had seen in a long time. We saw the sign that said a dozen for $5 so we had to try it. Then we found out that it was only $2.50 a dozen because it was Thursday. We tried about 6 appetizers and found everything to be great. We recommend anyone with 50 miles of this place to try it!
