Best Sea Food in town.Great shrimp and fried pickles!!!. Great Food and a good family atmosphere. Newly renovated. The resturant and bathrooms are very clean, staff was very friendly and my food was at my table with a quickness.. They were voted #1 in fried pickels and shrimp 5 years in a row. They even have oysters on the 1/2 shell and Cold Beer. PS: The prices were amazing and a lot of food I had left overs to take home. I highly recommend JL Trents Seafood. A BIG Bang for your Buck.

This no-frills seafood dive serves excellent fried fish and killer black-eyed peas.. The Food
A sign posted on the outside of Trent's Seafood summarizes its no-nonsense approach: CASH ONLY. There's not much in the way of decor, just a few plastic crabs and a stuffed fish or two mounted on the wall. Sit back and enjoy the complementary smoked trout dip with captain's wafers while you wait and listen to the P-3 airplanes come in for a landing at the Naval Air Station just across the way. Enjoy your meal but try not to linger too long; there are folks waiting outside for a table.

The Scene
Choose from a variety of fresh fish and decide if you want it broiled, grilled, blackened or fried (fried is the specialty). Sides are Southerners: grits, black-eyed peas, green beans or turnip greens.
