Awesome Food. Sala thai is my favorite thia joint in town. I go there at least once a week and often times more. The food is alway great the service isfriendly and fast and the prices are very good considering you atleast get a spring roll with your lunch...

casual thai food. sala thai is casual dining. while the bunquettes are a cute touch, the two tables stacked with plates, napkins, silverwear and beverage containers immediately when you walk in detract from the ambiance. the service is very friendly. the phenang and red curry are good but a little more watery than i like. the prices are decent. we were served within 10 minutes of ordering.

Authentic Thai. I have to admit, this place is great. The decor is beautiful as they have wooden booths and triangle pillows to make you feel like you're really in Thailand. They played Thai music and the food is close to authentic as it gets. Khmer being a neighbor to Thai, I do know these things. The waitresses are dressed in traditional clothing-- although they could be a little slow in service. I recommend getting their fried spring rolls as an appetizer and some Pad Thai (fried noodles) for starters. You'll love the food there!

Best in Jax. coming from the west coast where you gat about as close to Thai as Thailand. This place rates a ten out of all of the other places here in Jax. Seafood is fresh and HOT means HOT not just warm.
