Best Damn Restaurant in Town. Your taste buds will never be as happy was when you treat them to Dwights....sit at the bar and watch the show while you much on appetizers and sip wine....

User review by baluga. the astmosphere and service alone is enough to come back for....the food is outstanding - the best in jacksonville - you get what you pay for. i love drinking a glass of wine at the bar, listening to frank sinatra music and people watching!

This little bistro's strip-mall location gives no hint to the eclectic cuisine just inside its doors.. The Scene
The cozy dining room is adorned with charming accents, like fragmented wall tiles, fresh flowers on the tables and a cork collection from the restaurant's wine bottles. While you wait for one of only eight tables, sit at the bar, nibble on fresh-baked bread and watch chef-owner Dwight Delude whip up his rustic fare.

The Food
The menu changes daily according to Dwight's whims. Golden pan-fried crab cakes transport you to the Chesapeake Bay at first bite. Venison, duck or seafood is often an option, but the filet mignon with blue-cheese butter and balsamic reduction is a mainstay. Homemade ravioli come filled with pine nuts, mushrooms or asparagus, and are served as a side dish for the meatier entrees. Plates overflow with fresh-grilled corn or sweet potatoes, only adding to the generous portions.

Best meal in Jax!!. I dined at Dwight's recently for my birthday. I chose Dwight's based solely on the reviews from this site. I was not disappointed. Yes it is pricy, but I went in knowing that. The meal was outstanding. From the crabcakes to my sea scallops. It was a nonstop feast!! My wife had steak and it was as good of a steak that you will get anywhere in town. (Yes including Ruth's Chris or Morton's.) I plan on making it a regular stop in my eating out routine.

Best of the best!. This is where my fiance took me on the night he proposed. Dwight's has the BEST italian food, and yes...it is real italian food! This place is small and intimate. We've gone back several times and I recommend it to anyone and everyone.
