Not the best ever, but not bad.
The best part of my meal was definitely the chai tea - DELICIOUS!
Service wasn't all smiles - but to echo another reviewer there are cultural differences and I completely respect that.
Food was good. I think I've had better Indian food, but definitely worth coming back for more.

A good meal. India's restaurant is a place I can go and know I'm going to get a great meal. Their portions are very good and the food is fantastic. Its not my most favorite Indian restaurant but it comes in a very close second. My only reason why a close second is the ambiance. A lot of people love India's restaurant and I think it would be worth it for them to add some booths and candles to the tables for dinner. They also have a really reasonable price for the lunch buffet!

Excellent Indian - Excellent Chai!. Love this restaurant. Best place in town for authentic Indian cuisine. Love to finish off a great meal with a great cup of chai - - and always can here. The new Indian grocery a couple of doors down is recommended as well. I love the "mre's" that the previous reviewer mentioned. Great for my "fix" when I need it!

Great Indian!. This is a great authentic indian restaurant. The service can be a little spotty at times but it appears to be just cultural differences. Let it go...the food is great. I usually go with my girlfriend and we have a hard time ordering anything outside of the combo platters. We usually get one vegetarian and one meat combo and just share them. The offerings are always different and you get to try a lot of great stuff. Last time the meat option included goat. And as a side note...about four doors down from the restaurant is an indian grocery store, go check it out. They carry these packaged meals that are like military MRE's but they are GOOD! They run about $1.50 each and with a little basmati rice and some naan (also available at the store) they are a great meal. If you are reading this you HAVE TO try one, you will be pleasantly amazed.
