Cha Cha's was good while it lasted, while my g.f, mother, and I were trying to go back there last week and found out that it was closed during business hours. I tried calling the listed number on their website and it was disconnected.

Excellent!. Cha Cha's is the best in Jax! Love the food, the relaxed friendly environment and the great food. I take everyone I know to Cha Cha's and we eat lunch there several time a month! Go check them out!

The truth about Cha Cha's.. I have probably been to Cha Cha's well over 100 times.

Why?

* The beans are not PINK or GRAY and served from a bucket like every other place in the city.

* Incredibly attentive and fast service.

* Ask for the hot sauce. They make fresh hot sauce daily and it is some of the best hot sauce I've ever eaten.

* Incredibly inexpensive. Probably one of the least expensive restaurants in town for the quality of food served.

It is a small, indie Mexican restaurant. There are no cons. It is a casual dining spot that focuses on food, speed, and service. If you want to be wowed by indoor water and palm trees and are willing to pay $20 a plate, go to Cantina Laredo. If you care about the FOOD, then go to Cha Cha's.

Great Restaurant. Cha Cha's is place we have been going for 15 years and love it. We go back at least 2 times a month. We get to cravin their food and have to go back. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. I will recommend this restaurant to anyone. It is not a place for a romantic dinner, but fun to go for special occations. We will celebrate my 66th birthday there this month.

Not Bad.. But there is better elsewhere. This place had good chips and salsa, prompt service and seating. The food was good, nothing special. Average. The dining area was also nothing special, could probably use a little sprucing up. Otherwise, I could recommend this place to someone who wouldn't want to drive all day finding a mexican place to eat. This is one of the better mexican restaurants I've tried. Not the best - that belongs to La Nop on Hendricks!

Leaves much to be desired......... To be frank, if you like Ken-L Ration on a plate while sweaty waiters hover over you, then Cha-Cha's is your place The summer months are particularly unpleasant since the atmosphere is stuffy, sweaty and crowded. Some of the food is "okay", however, the surroundings would make a 4-star meal unenjoyable.

Excellent food. You can get the best chips and salsa in town here! The service is fast - and the food comes out fresh, fast and hot! Ive NEVER had a bad meal there and Ive been known to eat there several times a week! You get alot of food for your money and the margaritas rock!

User review by carmel0798. I did not like the food at Cha Cha's. I ordered the Nachos and they were terrible. The cheese was runny and the chips were soggy because they were soaked in cheese. Very Bad Experience.

Nothing fancy, good food. There is nothing fancy about Cha-Cha's. It isn't a romantic date type destination, but if you want good Mexican food at a very reasonable price then Cha-Cha's is the place.
