Very Satisfying!. This is also another good place where you can find consistently good food, and also a favorite of our family. I like their ribs, which they pile on your plate. My wife usually gets the prime rib, which is also very good. Got to have the bloomin' onion, also. Service people are very friendly and efficient and the food usually arrives on time. All and all a very good experience. Come early, as there always seems to be a line.

Australian tchotchkes and brews give this quintessentially American restaurant a distinctive Down Under flavor.. In Short
Boomerangs, Aussie flags, kangaroo portraits and faux aboriginal art honor the homeland's wilderness, but Outback delivers a polished version of rusticity with varnished blond-wood booths with matching wainscoting and casually uniformed waitstaff. Besides more than a half-dozen cuts of steak, diners can pick from large-portioned entrees like ribs, chops and shrimp or chicken "on the barbie." The Bloomin' Onion, a large onion dipped in batter and deep-fried, is an appetizer with a following.

You Can Do Better. I've eaten here several times at different locations and I've given up on getting a meal worth going back for. Outback and Carrabba's (same owners) seem to have the same marketing philosophy - spend enough money bombarding the public with incessant, catchy advertising and maybe they won't pay much attention to the food. I like the appetizers, but for the most part they can keep the rest of it. Do yourself (and your date) a favor and go to one of the good local steakhouses, or try the Longhorn. Don't be fooled by all the marketing hype, you can certainly do better.

awildrose60. This is consistently good. The steak special is most than enough to share with someone, if you are not a big eater. We usually get an extra salad or sides and have ample food. On a couple occaisions when things were not just right, the management was very good about making up for it. Very good coconut fried shrimp--6 are almost too many unless you have a hearty appetite.
