O'malley's is a great place to go for a good drink! The bartenders are friendly and conversational when time allows. The service was fast which was a surprise for a female customer.This ws a bonus for me when I first moved here. I have been in there for their Wednesday night special which brings in quite a crowd. I think that the Manager ges a bad rap for trying to do her job and to make a living behind the bar. It is free beer (normally 3.25glass) and when I ask it was suggested that $1 tip for a beer was greatly appreciated. The regulars seem to know this and a have great time. I have been going there for about 5 or 6 months.n The batenders know my name (Barb, the manager has since my first visit} and have my drink ready sometimes before I am seated. For a $1 a drink I deffinatly get my moneys worth!

Worst Bar service in Jacksonville. Worst bartender in jacksonville. This is made worse by the fact that she is not just a bartender, but the bar MANAGER.

Lady was insanely rude to me and 3 other patrons (who came up to me afterwards once they saw I was also mistreated) because apparently we didn't tip her enough to her liking. $2 for a free beer is a pretty good tip, but that lady is demanding and an absolute jerk unless you throw money at her like a stripper. For confirmation, see reviews on Google Places. Simple search the bar name and you will find other reviews confirming the same thing: terrible service.

Avoid this bar at all costs. You can get much better service and affordable drinks at any number of places that are within about a 2 mile radius.
