Good Roof; Business Practices Need Improvement. The sales man, Hank, used a high pressure sales tactic, not wanting to take no for an answer until we said yes that day and he even put down other companies. I found this to be a bit unpleasant and unnecessary. The roof was done without any problems and the workers were timely and quick. I did notice that some cosmetic things were a bit sloppy - there are tar spots all over the house. When the dumpster was picked up, a big chunk of grass was taken out. The sales man stated he'd replace it, however after a few weeks I called on the status and I was told that we could just buy some sod and send them the bill. One of the only reasons we agreed to go with this company was because the sales man agreed to our paying him a few weeks after the roof was completed, saying it was no big deal when we paid. We took it an extra step and gave him a post dated check, explaining to him that the funds would not be there until this date, and he was appreciative of that, confirming he would not cash it until then. He cashed it the same day and it bounced, causing several other bills to bounce, not to mention the bank fees we incurred. He gave a lame excuse as to why he did this. Lastly, it's been three months and we have called several times to get a receipt for payment and warranty papers from the company, but to no avail. I would recommend this company if they changed their business practices by adhering to what they promise and improving their office practices.
