This place is ideal for families. Dad can play golf, mom can unwind with fabulous spa treatments and kids can spend their days entrenched in the phenomenal youth programs. The property is set between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway, and is a haven for nature buffs. Most of the activities at the Nature Center, such as birding, salt marsh tours and biking, are included in the All-Inclusive Recreation Package.

The three championship golf courses include the 36-hole Amelia Links, designed by Pete Dye and Bobby Weed. There's also an acclaimed golf school, if you need help with your handicap. The Racquet Park has 23 Har-Tru courts set amid live oaks and lit for night play. There is almost 50,000 square-feet of function space, and custom-tailored corporate events may include Build Your Own Boat and Murder Mystery Dinner. As for the accommodations, you can choose from ocean-view rooms in the Amelia Inn or one- to three-bedroom villas.
