Fantastic food. Madrid is in a sketchy little strip mall but don't be fooled by outward appearances. The food is INCREDIBLE! I cannot emphasize strongly enough how good the food is. Madrid may be the best restaurant we have eaten at in Jacksonville. They serve large portions (you could split either entree my wife and I got between 2 people) and it is delicious. Good beer selection and at an excellent price. The decor leaves a lot to be desired, but the food and service both make up for it. Dinner for 2 with alcohol and tip was under $35! We were very impressed with both the people running the place and the quality of food that they serve. Absolutely a great place to take people for an inexpensive, tasty dinner!

Best Latin American Food in Town. A wonderful restaurant, though i was not impressed by the odd location, in a small stripmall by a gas stantion, it has wonderful service and food. The people working are very friendly, conversational and helpful. The food was superb and timely. A very good family restaurant, with an easy to understand menu makes ut a good experience for all. Not expensive and again GREAT SERVICE! I definatly would reccomend you try it out!!

Love it. when we lived in the area, my wife and i ate at Madrid at least twice a week. they have great, simple food, and great prices. nothing beats a summer lunch at Madrid, with a carafe of Sangria or an iced espresso drink. it's a great place to take kids, and if you want to catch some soccer, it's usually playing on the plasma-screen in the corner.
