Avante Salon Avondale LOVE IT. People stop me all the time and ask" who does your hair". I get tons of compliments on it. Natasha really makes my thick frizzy hair look shapely and healthy. I always have that bounce in my step when I leave Avante Salon. Lauren is also fantastic, all the girls are great really. I have lots of fun while I'm there too. LOVE IT....

Awesome!. I love this salon and have been going here for years. I started going to Avante after seeing a woman w/ cut so gorgeous I just had to ask her who did her hair. I've never anything but a wonderful experience. The staff is warm, professional and excellent at what they do.

My hair is poker straight and any lack of precision in a cut sticks out like a sore thumb. Natasha always does a wonderful job. My hair looks beautiful like I just stepped off a runway.

Great experience. Went with my daughter, and we both had a wonderful experience. The shop is on the very quaint and charming St. Johns Avenue, and it fits right in. I loved the staff and my haircut looks great.

LOVE Natasha and the girls. I love this salon! Natasha is absolutely fabulous, and everyone is so friendly, beautiful, and FUN! Got some great tips and am very pleased with my cut and color! Will definitely refer all of my friends!

AVOID !!!. DO NOT GO HERE! Comperable to a Walmart hair salon. The stylist that cut my hair did such an awful job it looked like it had been cut with a machete. I also looked like Peter Pan for about 6 moths while waiting for it to grow back. When I complained and wanted a refund they refused and avoided my phone calls telling me the bad haircut was my fault. has taken me 8 months and a couple hundred dollars to fix what was done to my hair! Go to Spa Latera, Its is in World Golf Village but is totally worth the drive, and is cheaper and ten billion times better as far as service, atmosphere and quality of cut goes.

TERRIBLE SERVICE! RIP OFF!. DO NOT GO THERE, unless of course you like overpaying for mediocre service. I paid nearly $200 for partial highlights and color. I have the same exact treatment done in NC at an Aveda salon ( that’s far more professional than Avante) for $90-$100. I don't mind paying $100-200 if my hair is going to look amazing- but I'm going to have to schedule an apt. elsewhere to fix the mess that my stylist gave me, ugh! The level of unprofessionalism in the salon is APPALING. They don’t even have a receptionist to greet clients or answer the phones so the stylists have to constantly divert their attention from their clients to help people walking in or assist customers calling on the phone. The girl who did my color kept joking I was lucky she didn’t spill color on my face and the stylists gossip about other clients while working... I will never go there again, and I am amazed that this place stays in business

Awesome Experience. This salon is adorable and the staff were a lot of fun to be around. I got what I expected of an AVEDA salon and love my hair. I also had waxing services done. Best I ever had. Don't miss this place! Great find.

awesome place for color/highlights. New to town and went to see Jamie who is also relatively new to the salon. I was really impressed with her ability to determine what my hair needed. I have always pulled red when I color my hair( I am a dark brunette with a lot of gray). Jamie was able to pull a real pretty brown with gold and caramel highlights, no red. She is also fun to talk to and a hard worker. I will definitely be back.

Very pleased. I was in town only for two months while my husband was receiving treatment at the Proton Radiation Center. Although the owner, Natasha, knew I could not bewcome a regular customer, she followed the color formula I brought from my hometown Aveda Salon. She did an excellent job with the color and cut understanding what I wanted from both. Because of scheduling conflict. my next appointment was with Lauren. She too, did a great job. I couldn't have been more pleased. As a bonus. the shop is located in the area called Avondale and is surrounded by good restaurants and nice shopping. This experience gave an added boost tp temporary living in Jacksonville.

Terrible customer service. I was overcharged for my services. The stylist did not know how to correct the charge. Neither did the receptionist. I was told several times the problem would be fixed. It wasn't. I have now made several phone calls and two visits to the salon to rectify my charge card. "Natasha" was the last one to say she'd fix the problem and said she'd call me back in half an hour. Four days later, I'm still waiting. Now I have to contest the charge through my credit company. What a hassle. The stupid thing is, this salon is always advertising for new customers and cutting deals for walk-ins. Then they run people off with complete incompetence. Bummer.
