Poor Quality Company. I purchased a vehicle through a buy here pay here lot in Alabama, they financed the vehicle through Lydia Cladek my payment book was only supposed to be for 24 months at $100 per week. When we kept getting closer and closer to paying it off they would say we had interest it took over 3 years to pay off. Representatives would constantly call and harass you on the job or at home. Half acted as if they had never went through crisis before. I would not recommend them to anyone.
thanks. thanks for the help when no one else would.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!. Do your homework before you allow your used car dealer to get you a loan with this company or a company called Pay n Ride!!!! All they want is their money and they don't care about your car or YOU!!!!
Lydia Cladek Scam artist with fraudulent contracts. Lydia Cladek Inc, bought my contract from Rob Partelo's Winners Circle in St. Pete, FL. They harass you on the phone the day before your payments are due. I recently sent them 5 prepayments back in July 2009. They took it upon themselves to apply my money order and coupons attached to towards the interest on my contract, without my permission. Now they are saying as of September 2009 I owe them money. I reported them to the Bureau of Northwest Florida, State of Florida Comptrollers Office of Finance and Accounting Division for Fraud, and Consumer Lawyer Eric Seidieil of Channel 13 WTVT. They are being investigated as of 9/1/09. If you've done any business with them and they've harassesd you send in your complaints asap!.
Warning!!!!!!!!!!!Do NOT Use This Company. This is a bad company, all they want is money, they will tell you that they are willing to work with you and that is a big LIE. they call your house telling you about your car after you have made arrangements, that lets me know there is no communication between staff members. Please do not go thru LYDIA CLADEK , I dont care how bad your credit is, their are other companies out there. (seek those) I wish i had never went thru this company.
Investors Beware. There is a scam artist that took money from church parish members and did not return money after they found him out. The owner of this company is giving all the money to a so called personal coach over $1,000. dollars an hour he has bragged to employees. He even lives at her home whenever he wants to. She is completely controlled by this man Bill Lamond who has some sort of hold on her. Before you invest. Ask about this man.
Former Investor Knows the Deal.
As a former investor, I've experienced the good and bad and also keep close contact with a few key employees.
The owner has good intentions, but surrounds herself with a number of key personnel who can best be described as yes people with no industry experience. They called in some hotshots recently, but seems that they are playing the same game as a reportedly clueless COO and other Marketing reps who are more concerned with their position than the company's future.
The company basically got too big for its britches when the economy was booming, buying too aggressively against the advice of 2 previous Purchasing managers and a few other employees. As a result, they were way too immersed in sub-prime and paid the price when economy got tough.
I remember a few employees (Kevin, Lori, Cristy, Matt,...interesting that they've almost all left the company...) who strongly recommended for YEARS that they diversify their risk, but there seems to be a culture of 'affirming' what they want or expect with no regard for reality.
In late 2008, it was interesting to see that the purchasing department suddenly began avoiding obligations to their dealers...and months later the whole department was shut down with key personnel, including the department manager, were AWOL. Rumor is that they were made collectors!
When asked for investments returned, many investors like myself, were asked to reconsider or accept a monthly payment plan instead. In some cases, these compromises were stalled further.
I still keep in touch with some employees and investors, and while they've been forced to sign 'Confidentiality Agreements', there is obviously a lack of confidence in management and future of the company.
I wish them well, but cant explain why a few bright, honest people are buried in meaningless positions while the same old people remain in the ivory tower with the fine lines of ethics being erased each day. Be careful!
they are out of business. This company went broke and did not pay their dealers on approved deals. They charged 30% onto the dealer sales price + max interest rates. No wonder they went out of business! Monthly payment were 400-500 month
I purchased my Expedition from a buy here pay here and I was financed through Lydia Cladek. Yes I have been through very irritating reps that have been nothing but rude (VINCENT) and have no understanding but for the most the reps have worked with me. I truly feel that they are only doing the job that they are paid to do. If we do what our contract says and pay them on time, then they wouldn't have to call, right??!! Yes I have been late on my payments a time or two but at the same time I have made arrangements and kept them. These people at Lydia Cladek do know ,in the economy that we are living in, that there are going to be some rough times for their customers. My truck will be paid off in about 7 months and Lord knows I hope I make it. I would have rated them a 5 star, but thanks to VINCENT I couldn't. Carmen of Gainesville
Mishelene, Tonya and others yall are wonderful. GOD Bless
Great for fresh starts!. I am very sorry that everyone has such negative things to say about the company that gave them credit when no one else would, not to mention it appears alot of the complaints are about being doing thier job becuase the payment is late. My best guess for all of you that have issues need to actually pay your payments on time or if you need to make arrangements that are realalistic then call. You signed a contract to make your payments on a specific date. Honor that or think twice before signing a contract. The rep's there are doing thier job, as you would if in thier position. This is a great company with good values and believe it or not they do care about thier customers.
