Horriffic Family Experience at Hanna Park - Nautical Escapes. My family went paddle boating at Hanna Park. It was obvious after about two minutes, that the boat was leaking water and not paddling well. The very nice gentlmen working there jumped into the water and pulled us back to the dock. When we tried to switch boats, the owner came out and asked what was wrong. I informed him the boat was not working well. He informed me that paddle boating was a physical sport and he was not responsible that I was out of shape.

I asked him why he had to criticize me in front my family and he stated it was because I 'criticized his boat'. All I wanted to do was put my family in another boat and he continued to tell me I was out of shape and he would not refund my money (which I never asked for).

Our five minute paddle boat ride, resulted in the owner slamming me for not being in shape well enough to operate a paddle boat, verbally abusing me and my wife in front of our kids, and keeping my money. Needless to say my three-year old was in tears, with my other child asking me why he was such a complete jerk, which ironically is the same question I had. And by the way, I don't believe a 5'10", 165lb soccer player is out of shape.
