I like the pizza- but hate the servers. I love the pizza at Mellow- if you can get your server to get some for you. I like the atmosphere, I really do, but some of the servers just float around and hang out with their friends rather than give you good service. I always leave feeling that I could have got better service. The product is good though!

Awesome Food, Service and atmosphere. Had the hummus pita today. It was the best sandwich I have had in a very long time. Great place, great people, great atmosphere! My husband and I are in our mid forties. Previous review indicates this place is for teenagers. We disagree! Also- the place was quite busy and we could carry on a conversation easily and were able to hear one another.

Good pizza - ambience drove me nuts. Probably the best pizza we have had since moving to Jacksonville four years ago. Crust is fantastic. Love the ham and pineapple. The restaurant itself is finished totally in hard surfaces. I imagine it would be deafening with 30 people, and there is always more than 30. It is totally impossible to have any kind of dinner conversation. Garish colors clearly designed to appeal to teen-agers. Do not understand the posted wait time for the pizza. Kind of like standing in line at Disneyworld. "Waiting time for tonight's pizza is 32 minutes"?

Editorial Review by Christy Buena. Italian dishes are served at the kid friendly restaurant including calzones, pizza, salads as well as a selection of appetizers.

best mellow mushroom i've eaten at.. if you have never eaten at a mellow mushroom then you should go. its a different type of pizza but its great. i've eaten at several and this is by far the best mellow mushroom that i have eaten at.

yumellow. really fun, great great food, get some of their pretzels and a purple haze, and then catch a movie, tinseltown is right there

great pizza. real good pizza, nice feel to th eplace. fun. Real good pizza. a little pricey, but hey, they've got yuengling on tap!

Keep On Shroomin'. Mellow Mushroom is definitely a great place to hang out and have some great food and drinks with friends. The atmosphere is fun and up beat, with live music on weekends and a bar. The restaurant itself is decorated in crazy colors, modern twists and it's just a really lively place. I like to eat there with friends a lot but I always see families with kids there too so it's really for all ages. The staff is friendly and helpful. I don't think I'v ever had bad service there and plus the servers/bartenders are always easy to talk to and laugh with. It can get a little loud in there so if thats not your scene then try something else. Oh and the food is awesome, as with most Mellow Mushrooms. House special pizza or jerk chicken pizza are the best, Check it out!
