I LOVE AL'S PIZZA!. Al’s has the best pizza! You can tell they use fresh ingredients. Al’s also has great entrees! It’s hard to decide what I want sometimes because everything is so delicious. That’s why I like going with a lot of friends so we can order a variety of dishes!

Dirty Floors and Tasteless Food. I almost turned around and left when I noticed a lot of trash on the floor. The place was not busy. Then on the way to the restrooms, I noticed salad on the floor near the bar. Trash on the bathroom floor. So this gave a very bad first impression. If you can't keep the floor clean, how is the rest of the service going to be?

We ordered calamari. Turned out to be the chewy frozen variety. The side salad was mostly iceberg lettuce with mushy sliced tomatoes. The pepperoni pie was bland and very greasy. I used a napkin to soak up the grease on the pizza.

Overall a very poor meal. Went home and had a peanut butter sandwich.

Best Pizza in Jacksonville. Food is fantastic. Service was fast and reliable. Great location. Parking is not a problem. Try the the bacon sausage pep pizza.

Best Pizza - Can be crowded but worth the wait.. Al' s has by far some of the best pizza in town. I have been dinning at Al's (all of the locations by the way) for years and would recommend it to everyone.

But i would recommend you try for yourself and make your own decision, and pay little attention to the former review... if you can understand and read it....

Why the cranky greeter?. The food at Al's is not good I had expected considering the raves I had heard prior to their enrance to Riverside.

The service was heinous. No, I regress, the service was horrid. How can they stay in business. The food average, the service rude, never more shall I grace their doors and if you want to go ahead and good luck.

Small place going "chain". It was good when they had only one location, now forget it like evewrything in there has been forgaten.

Great food, Mediocre Service. Al's has great food at great prices. Period. I've tried everything from the White Pizza to the Chicken Parmigiana, and have yet to have a dish that I do not like. Unfortunately, the service at Al's is mediocre at best, and during the numerous times that I've visited, can only recount one time where service was actually good. Poor service includes ridiculously long wait times for food, and even longer for the check. This could be a spectacular place to eat, but the inadequate service is holding this location back.
