Catering >Lemon Grass Restaurant
Loved the food here but...... Loved the food here but a lot of folks like Brown Rice instead of Jasmine. It's white because of bleach. No Edaname either?????
Lemongrass Are Thieves. I am a small business owner and I rely on companies like Lemongrass to pay their bills so I can stay in business. Lemongrass ordered ribbons for their credit card machines in the amount of 275.00 dollars in January of 2010 and have failed to pay over the last 5 months with numerous attempts to collect. As far as I am concerned they might as well of come into my house and stole from me. Stealing is stealing. Veradot is the person whom ordered the merchandise and decided he was going to steal from my company. I just want to make sure that any person doing business with this restaurant is knowingly doing business with a thief.
To give this restaurant more than a 2, you must be a white bread fanatic. Food = below par, Service = rude.
Lemongrass soup was way to sweet, almost no flavor like I am used to. Pat thai was dry and hard.
My favorite restaurant!. Lemongrass is my favorite restaurant! I?ve eaten there many times and have never been disappointed. The interior is beautifully designed, the atmosphere is conducive to conversation, and the prices are very reasonable, considering the high quality of the food and service. The appetizers are wonderful, especially the Fried Spring Rolls, and I?m often tempted just to order several appetizers. I tend to order the curries, since they are all so good, but I have been happy with every entree I have had. Lemongrass does not serve mixed drinks, but the wine and beer are always good and are moderately priced. I have never been to Thailand, so I can?t claim that the food is ?authentic,? but the many Asian customers I have seen there don?t appear to be grumbling. I give Lemongrass my highest recommendation!
Avoid at all cost!!! Dirty food and rude managers. We went with some friends from out of town last week and we all love Thai food. We waited for 20 min but the restaurant was only half full. The drinks we received were weak and overpriced. Finally after our waitress (who was very nice and attentive) brought out our appetizers we were able to dine on cold egg rolls that were wrapped with a thin rice paper. Our soup came so salty I had to send mine back. The others were so hungry by this time they washed it down with a few glasses of water. Once our meals arrived 2 people found a human or animal hair in their Pad Thai. We sent them all back, and when the manager Voradet came by to see what the problem was he was rude! We did not ask for anything free all we wanted was the food to be fit for service at a restaurant. Later that night all six of us were very sick from something, not sure but I bet it had to do with the dirty kitchen. If going to Jax stay away from this place!
Not bad...for Jacksonville.. I didn't have high hopes for this place because I've been burned by several restaurants in the Jacksonville area. This restaurant is in a shopping center that didn't look too appealing, but once I walked inside I was pleasantly surprised. The decor was great; everything looked clean, and the food was above average. I would definitely return to try more of their dishes. I had the chicken Phad Thai, and it was great.
Best Thai in South Jax. I'm not sure this is what you would call genuine Thai, but it is definately genuine good. The Pad Thai and other standards are very good a standouts for the Jacksonville area. The Crab Rangoon is top notch a fairly priced. If you like heat don't worry about asking for Thai Hot as it is not really that hot. Watch the Voss water as it tends to add to the bill pretty quickly. Overall this is a very good place to eat, just not what I would call standard Thai fare.
Sour Lemon Restaurant. They call this place a Thai restaurant? I don't see anything authentic in this place. The service was so bad I had to speak to the manager because we didn't see our waitress for about 30 minutes. My best friend and I, being from Southeast Asia, received lots of unfriendly stares. Apparently this is the place where white yuppies who think they're hip eating overly priced Thai food hang out. This place is an insult to real authentic asian cooking. If you like overly sweet coconut milk and lots of peanuts, this must be the place for you.
Loud but worth it!. I went here for lunch with some business colleagues. the food and service were excellent, but the room was very loud and converstaion was difficult. Not that it mattered much, we were all too busy stuffing our faces to talk.
Fresh Thai Cuisine.
Speaking from an Asian point of view. LemonGrass uses the freshest ingredients. The owner stopped by my table and said that they go to the market to pick the fresh ingredients by hand. The sauces are made daily by their executive chef who came from Pom's Bistro and Old Siam.
The art deco reminds me of a Los Angeles style restaurant playing Jazz music. Get their early. Sometimes the wait is long but well worth it!
