Mixed Review. Went to Bogey Grille this past fall while visiting the Ponte Vedra area with some friends. Between the 4 of us that went we supported 3 different college fball teams and on this particular day the games were nicely spread out, so we figured we'd make a day of it at Bogey Grille.

We sat at the bar and began our football watching day with great food and companionship. The only(and pretty big) problem we had during the afternoon was the service. The 2 female bartenders behind the bar just didnt seem like they wanted to be there. Everything came out correctly and as ordered(and tasted fantastic- the Bogey Burger was amazing), but the girls weren't very friendly and occasionally they would get into conversations with themselves and it would take a few minutes to flag them down to get what we needed. 5 for the food and atmosphere but a 1 for the service. After 3 or 4 hours of dealing with them we were about to pack up camp and head for another bar.

The reason I say mixed review in the headline is because the 2 bartenders that relieved the girls(a short asian girl and tall skinny guy) were the complete opposite of what we had dealt with during the day. These 2 were outgoing, friendly...basically just made us feel super welcome at the bar and we LOVED it. We stayed because of them and anyone who has been to Bogey Grille must know who we're talking about.

When we make a return trip to Ponte Vedra next fall we'll definitely head back to Bogey Grille, but now we know to go a little later in the day.

TERRIBLE SERVICE. Have been going there for years, and love the food and atmosphere, but they tend to hire terrible service! Went there a few days ago, and this incompetent server named Jesy ruined our orders and our evenings. She didnt listen and had a HUGE attitude!! If you go there, ask for a different server!

Horrible service. Every time we go, slow service. Then a decent size group of us call one Sunday to make outside reservations since we were bring a dog. We confirmed that our game was going to be on before we made the drive there. Got there and they refused to put the game on because one person was watching something else (no dog). Even the owner did not seem to care that his staff had promised his customers one thing and then failed/refused to deliver...... Couple good items on the menu, but nothing worth that bad service.

Best Burgers!. The best burger in Ponte Vedra. Onion Rings worth every ounce added to the hips! Great place to hang out, watch the game and enjoy a good meal.
