Reputation is more then good food. I have been to this restaurant while living in Jax, I now reside in Houston. This a.m. the story of the bride to be was on local tv along with the owner. I can say without a doubt, for an owner to go on tv and say they wont refund the full deposit due to a death....WILL result in the death of this restaurant. The damage is done, if the restaurant cannot absorb a 1600.00 loss, they are on their last leg. What they are doing on NATIONAL TV no less, is complete heartlessness. Do you really wont to patronize a place like this?

Avoid this place! Heartless. Before you patronise this business, please read the following story.

My cousin was to be married on Feb 20th, 2010. He passed away 2 days before the wedding date. I can't imagine what the immediate family has had to go through, but I'm sure, on top of everything else, cancelling all the wedding reservations and plans was very difficult. Luckily, everyone involved gave the mourning fiance a full refund. Everyone with the exception of Fontana Italian Resteraunt of Jax Beach, who was to cater the event. It takes a money hungry company with no morales to do something as ugly as this. I really hope this weighs on anyones conscience who is looking for a place to spend their hard earned money on a meal.
