They sell puppy Mill Dogs. I bought a cocker in Nov 2009. She 9 months old and the dogs is now on 2 medications she will have to take for LIFE because of joint problems. Yes, that is what THEIR vet Briarcliff, said. They still want to take xrays($300), but her clicking joints will hopefully not get worse. These people know where the dogs come from so they also lie about it. This is the only dog we ever bought from a puppy store. The only dog we ever had issues with. The owner of Puppie n Things should be ashamed, but I guess money is more important

puppies!. Just want to give some feedback about this store! I shop here on a regular basis for toys for my pet, they have great quality products. The girl who works up front is really friendly and nice!! I try to avoid the pet room because I’ll end up buying one!

I like it!!. I recently bought a puppy from this store. she’s only 6 months old, but this is the best pet I’ve ever owned, I would recommend this store to anyone. the puppies aren’t kept in small cages behind glass, they are in large cages with comfortable bedding, other puppies to play with, and are all extremely well socialized. the employee’s there are very pleasant. the girl who helped me was only probably 17 or 18 years old, but was EXTREMELY knowledgeable. we’re thinking about getting another puppy as a friend for Daisy and I know where we’ll be going.

Christmas puppy. I bought a dog two months ago for a Christmas present to myself. I was searching pet stores around Jacksonville and after visits to about five pet stores in the area I chose Puppies N Things. It was clean, odor free and the puppies looked well groomed and really happy! There were quite a few people in the store due to Christmas shopping, but I was helped right away with questions. After playing with "Duke" for about an hour, I decided to buy him! I was given two guarantees and a free Vet visit. I would recommend this store to anyone looking for a pet! Thank You!

good pups, bad dress code. It seems like they only hire good looking women and the outfits are wayyyy too revealing. The puppies are pretty cute though!

Awesome Grooming and Store. I have been a regular customer here since before the store started grooming. My 3 baby girls LOVE the cookies, and I love to look at the puppies. Although most of the staff knows me and knows that I am just there to buy cookies and look at the puppies, I am always treated very politely and greeted warmly every time I enter the store. I am even happier now that they groom!! My babies look even more like little princesses! I am a picky customer, but my directions are always followed and I am never made to feel bad for being picky. I can also say, as a grooming customer, I have seen the "back room" that the obviously disgruntled ex-employee spoke about... All I can do is state the obvious: sometimes puppies get sick, get colds, etc, especially when they travel and are handled by many different people. There has to be a place to keep them until they are well. I have seen nothing bad in the "back room." I have even been a walk-in and popped up unexpectedly, only to find the "back room" puppies (there were only 2) were out playing very happily while an employee was washing dishes and supervising them... Please take my advice when I say to go visit the store and form your own opinion from your own experience. Puppies N Things is AWESOME!!

Best pet store in Jax. I recommend this store to all my friends, now I’ll recommend it to all of you! I started stopping in this store when it first opened several years ago and come in at least twice a month. I’ve bought two dogs from them now and love them both. It’s the cleanest pet store in Jacksonville and they have the best quality puppies. That’s about it. I don’t think it’s that different from most pet stores, but its definitely a little better.

LOVE IT!!. I recently moved here from Ohio and was looking for a puppy. I had gone to every puppy store in Jacksonville and finally found Puppies N Things. I was so amazed to see how clean, bright and nice the store was. All the other pet stores I've been too were smelly, dark and depressing. I ended up buying a Yorkie- Maltese mix, she is the cutest thing ever! She was at a great price and she aslo came with two guarantees. They also had a great deal on products too! I can say I'm completely satasifed with the whole experience and would reccomend this store to anyone.

To the Anti-Pet Store Lady (LIED TO ). I am sorry that you are so closed minded. I know not every breeder has a good rap, but plenty of them do. I think you should do more research before you say that Puppies N Things buys from Puppy Mills. I have 4 dogs, 3 of which I had purchased from this store in the last 2 years. I had the normal kennel cough with one of them which was covered by the guarantee and the other two never had any issues. I have spoke with the breeders of both of the dogs. 2 share the same breeder and one parent. The breeder answered all of my questions and from time to time I send her photos. The employees are very nice and the store is clean every time I go in to visit and show pictures of my extended family(puppies). If you were not satisfied with your puppy and the store then you should have returned the puppy instead of complaining about it. You can find a bad breeder anywhere or at any pet store if you look hard enough. I would recommend this store to anyone. All you have to do is look at my healthy,vibrant puppies! If you're going to make an accusation like this do your research first. This is 1 breeder!!!!!!!Like you said that employee is gone!!!!
