The WORST in JAX!!!. We have just finished dining at Sneakers and WILL NOT return to this poorly managed establishment again. For anyone contemplating going to this sorry restaurant, please do yourself a favor and not choose this one. The manager is the worst -- has absolutely NO management skills and has no idea how to handle a customer's complaints. Always blaming it on "The kitchen". Never will to admit to a mistake -- trying to put it back on the customer. Just a horrible place for service and PR management skills. There are so many better places to eat in JAX -- this is at the bottom of the list. Corporate needs to be informed -- that's my next stop.…
General manager "Jeff" is a JERK!.
Last night a friend and I decided to visit Sneakers off of Baymeadows, to watch the Packers/ Patriots game. Great service, and friendly staff. Great place to watch a game. However, my friend and I
were shocked at how the General manager (who I later found out his name is Jeff) treated a female server. We were sitting on the patio, and saw him wandering around. He stopped dead in his tracks, called a female server over from across the room, pointed between his feet, and told her to pick up a piece of trash! As she did, he stood there and watched her. He didn't even step back! So she literally had to bend over and pick it up DIRECTLY between his feet! You can imagine the view that she had! I was standing about five feet away, so shocked that I couldn't even speak! And we were not the only ones that witnessed this! I then spoke to some of the staff, and found that that is "normal behavior", and that this is usually the way he treats everyone on the his staff. The ones who I spoke with were less than impressed by his day to day managerial techniques, and so was I! I have never witnessed a more disgraceful, and disrespectful way to treat another human being!
Jeff, you might want to rethink your position in that restaurant. Your personality may serve you better as a dishwasher, away from the general public, and with no power to disrespect anyone like that ever again!
I have been in the restaurant industry for a VERY long time, and if anyone on any of the staffs that I've managed were to disrespect another like that, I would personally escort them to the door!
Jeff, you should be ashamed of yourself! And you might want to start the apologies to your staff...
To the staff at Sneakers... every time I've been in, you have given great service. Hold your heads up high. I know that you probably never hear it from "Jeff", but...GREAT JOB!!!…
