a good, solid mexican restaurant-3.5 stars. This is my wife's favorite Mexican restaurant. I think its pretty good-there is nothing that is just slap-your-mama outstanding, but it is consistently above average good food. The portions are large-when you eat the chips and salsa, you could split the California burrito with someone else. The margaritas are good but have too much ice in my opinion. Their chips and salsa are pretty good as well. It is fairly loud, so don't come thinking you will have a private dinner. The food is reasonably priced and we are always seated promptly. The bar seems like it can be kind of hard to get to with the tables close by and people crowding up to it. This place would be one of maybe two or three Mexican restaurants in Jacksonville that I would recommend it to a friend.
