EXCELLENT!. We have visited many Mexican restaurants since moving to Jacksonville five years ago. Los Portales is way ahead of the pack. The food is absolutely the best Mexican cuisine we have tasted and the menu is extensive. The portions are huge! We visited Los Portales on Sunday for a late lunch. I had the chori-pollo and my husband had chimchangas. We both brought enough home to enjoy for dinner. The iced tea was fresh and refreshing. The wait staff is great, anticipating our needs. The salsa had just a tiny bit of bite to it...just right for out tastes. LOS PORTALES is our favorite Mexican restaurant.
