Today was my 3rd or 4th time at Cortello and they are awesome! Brandon is the best with curly hair. He saved it after an ombre job gone wrong (totally dead and dry hair) and gave me great advice on getting it healthy again (almost there!). Love my haircuts with him and his fun attitude. Can't wait for my hair cut and ombre appointment next month! Today I got my birthday blowout with Kristin (I hope that's right!). She was super sweet and made my experience fun. LOVED the results. I asked for a voluminous blow out and that's exactly what I got! Love the vibe of the salon and how friendly and welcoming everyone is from the moment you step into the salon til the second you leave. I will forever go to Cortello to get my hair done. Thanks for your excellent service and for my birthday blowout! Such a great present!

I have been to my fair share of places to get my hair done and let me just say I am absolutely in LOVE. I met Courtney Cortello at the 26.2 with Donna Marathon Expo. She was warm, friendly, energetic and hip. These are all things that describe her salon. She recommended emailing for an appointment... fabulous. No need to hang on the phone, waiting and waiting, for someone to pick up. I emailed them and no more than a few minutes later I received a response. They booked me for a complementary consultation with Jessica.

During the consult, we hit it off. Jessica spent as much time as I wanted talking about what we were going to do, making a game plan and LISTENING. Can you believe it a stylist who listens to what you want?

Oh and did I mention that the salon is a place that I would WANT to hang out. It feels more like a sheik and hip boutique than a hair salon.

I came back later, Jessica remembered our conversation and then the magic happened. I started the day with overly processed, dry, brittle hair that looked more like a calico cat than human hair. I left Cortello Salon with beautiful sun kissed locks (overly processed yuck removed or conditioned) that for the first time in years I actually felt like I could blow dry without feel like I needed to wear a hat b/c of the processing damage I had. And she styled it so cute I forced my man to take me out just so I could show it off. Without a doubt I would highly recommend Cortello Salon,

I can see why they were voted best in Jax and I don't plan to go anywhere else!

LOVE this Salon! I have had my hair cut and colored and have no complaints. Each time they give me tips so that I can create what the stylist has done at home. The color last and gives my hair shine.

Best salon in Jax Beach!. I love Cortello and would never go anywhere else. The staff is wonderful; always friendly and courteous. I think the stylists are the greatest in Duval.

I recently had my hair shampooed and blown dry somewhere else. No comparison to Cortello Salon! I go to Cortello for color, cut, and style. They are the best!

Best salon at the Beach! I have found my new salon of choice! Immediately upon arriving I was warmly greeted and given a tour of the salon as well as something cool to drink. I was paired with Lee and he did a fantastic job of talking with me about my hair type and what I wanted to acheive. The technique he used to do my foil highlight was one I hadn't seen before and the results were great! To top it off, I asked him one question about curling my hair at home, i.e. what am I doing wrong, and he proceeded to not only show me an example, but to curl my whole head. Totally above and beyond what I was expecting. I highly recommend them!

2-2-13: Cortello is the only place I trust to color, cut and style my hair! I love the fun atmosphere and commitment to excellence! I have been with the owner for more than 9 years. I wouldn't let anyone else touch my hair.

From the moment you step through the door you know you're at a salon that is a cut above the rest. I've been in Jax for 5 years and this was the first time where I've been to a salon and been truly satisfied with the whole experience. The atmosphere is beautiful and inviting and the staff is courteous and helpful. While waiting for our appointment we were offered complimentary mimosas. My stylists Caryn was friendly and knowledgeable, and gave me the best hair cut I've ever had. I have long, fine hair that is not dyed, and every stylist I've ever had before has wanted me to dye it and suggested lots of layers. Not Caryn. She never once mentioned dyeing it and recommended no layers which is exactly what I wanted. My hair actually looks longer now after her cutting it! She is truly a master of her art. I will definitely be returning.

Cortello Salon. AMAZING SALON! I have been going to Cortello for about one year now and I am in love with it! I have never been so happy with a salon. Cortello is full of amazing talent. I recommend it to anyone who looks for higher quality hair services. Not only are they all very kind and personable.....they are very knowledgable and up on the current trends. I highly recomend you check them out. They are AMAZING
