Horrible service and mediocre food; don't bother.. As a family with two young kids, we've always enjoyed taking them to places like Dave and Busters; the only problem is on the weekend evenings/nights, when the bar is open and it gets overrun with people drinking. So when my husband heard about Aw Shucks from a friend (who said it was more "kid friendly"), we were intruiged. We decided to take the kids there on a Saturday night, and let me tell you, we shouldn't have bothered. There weren't that many people there (the resturant was never even half full the entire time we were there), but our service was unbelievably slow. When we got our drinks, about halfway through I realized there was soap caked on the side of the cup from the dishwasher; my husband said that he thought the water tasted like soap. It took them about 25 minutes to get our appetizers to us- another 15 for our food-and when they finally DID bring our food, they brought everything but my husbands sweet potato puffs; those didn't come out until after we were done eating, and they were burned! We let the kids play in the (tiny) arcade area; most of the games would just eat the tokens. We couldn't get out of there fast enough, and needless to say will NEVER be going back. Do yourself a favor and don't bother with them; they're awful.
